If you’ve ever met me you know I am enthusiastic about rocks, doesn’t matter what shape, colour, size or where they’re from, young or old, hard or soft.
In a past life I fulfilled several roles at the Australian Mineral Foundation (and later AMIRA’s Data Metallogenica), BHP Billiton, AusSpec International (Sahsa Pontual), AuScope’s NVCL, and the Geological Survey of South Australia – from contract/ project/ senior geologist, technician, database development, website developer, digital photography, resource evaluation and estimations, and yep I even filled in the role of secretary for a while in the downturn at the start of the century.
Currently I am a spectral geology specialist, with a passion for mineral system analysis, and innovation through finding rapid and cost effective technologies for analytical solutions to inventing new analytical methods or processes.
I also have extensive experience processing spectral data from a variety of platforms, and am able to provide mineral insights into complex spectral data from a wide variety of mineral systems.
